The Vision Behind the Studio
Andrew Rhoden, J.D., M.S.
Founder & Lead Artist, Masterly Studios
At the helm of Masterly Studios is Andrew Rhoden, an award-winning artist, creative director, and attorney with over three decades of experience in visual arts, production, and education.
Andrew’s creative journey began under the mentorship of his mother — a talented photographer — and evolved through collaborations with some of the most respected artists and photographers worldwide. He holds international certification in commercial photography with a specialization in architecture, and his creative expertise extends deeply into video and podcast production.
Before founding Masterly Studios, Andrew served as Director of Operations for an NCAA Division I football program, where he led large-scale media and video initiatives. He later became a producer and director for one of the nation’s largest trade associations, developing a top-performing podcast that showcased his expertise in production, storytelling, and visual branding.
Outside of the studio, Andrew is a Super Lawyer (Thomson Reuters) and has been recognized among the National Black Lawyers Top 40 Under 40, highlighting his excellence in law and leadership. With a background in sports, media, and business, Andrew brings a unique multidisciplinary perspective to every project — merging creative artistry with strategic vision.
He holds degrees from Hampton University (B.S. in Sports Management), West Virginia University (M.S. in Sports Management), and American University Washington College of Law (J.D.), and was inducted into Hampton University’s 40 Under 40 Distinguished Alumni Association in 2021.
